I had a very nasty fright over the weekend, we were trading at a re-enactor market and i was doing the key change over, basically hanging round till the overnight security arrives…let me set the scene (eerie music time)..
A BIG huge warehouse type building with only 2 security lights on surrounded by moths giving it a strobe effect with loads of stalls with everything from a full suit of armour to bren guns to roman armour. I was walking round doing a bit of shopping, no crowds, no people on my stall needing to be served, just peace n quiet, i was chatting to a m8 on the mobile, walked around a corner to meet a large figure in tudor costume with a tricorn hat on a a macabre opra mask on.. kinda screamed down the phone my m8 thinks ive been attacked and is shouting down the phone back at me , my bum has gone from 5p to 50p in the blink of an eye…bloody mannaquin !!!!! it was a proper goosebump moment it really was , then I realised how many mannaquins there were and the strobe light effect didnt help, it was the fastest Ive ever drunk a bottle of mead

Strange my other posts havent shown up, ah well, musta have pressed the wrong buttons lol, we’re working on the organic range today, suzie has had a great idea The Floral Range, we’re making a Hibiscus, Lavender, Rose, Elderflower and Chamomile flavours, and we have been given 2 HUGE tubs or organic apples so should be a great day for experiments, all we need is some of those HUGE electric thingies they had in the 1940’s frankenstien movies and our workshop would be complete, things are moveing forward with our complaint procedure, for those that dont know we want to get the unedited footage from our appearance on Dragons Den 15th October, they did some serious re-editing that showed us in a rather bad light and we want to prove it, though Dominic from the DD team says they dont have to give the footage over, so its legal time.
If you interestred or you thought we were dealt with appalingly feel free to join our facebook group that was set up by Pilsbury to put our point across to the BBC, from small acorns and all that

Well, this seems a good day to start my blog, the day after our appearance on Dragons Den, didn’t go quite as we hoped, had you walked in 30 seconds after our bit started you would not have known what we were even selling, all the talk was about us and the way we looked, most of the choicer comments were edited and strangely enough footage none of us remember being in was aired, must be the magic of TV, we sold a small bit of our souls to the god of TV and didn’t he stiff us lol, though my main gripe was that due to the extensive editing of our pitch etc most people remember the phrase Cowleys Fine Foods which unfotunately is what we call both our business Suzies Fruity Bits ( veggie) Martins Jerked Meat (meaty), and that doesnt have a website, though as soon as phil our PC guru saw the way it went he tried to buy Cowleysfinefoods.com but someone had just that minute bought it and is now trying to sell it back to us after using it for a PPC site, then the cheeky b’stard bought martinsjerkedmeat.co.uk this morning, well, off to bed now, really tired after a strange day lol
