Well, another long gap between posts, its been a manic few weeks, the Ludlow Xmas market was a great success our best show all year, last weekend was the Bishops Palace Medieval Xmas market which was almost as good, in 2 days we are the Caerphilly Medieval market and then off till Christmas WOO HOO !!! well, when I say off, we have local farmers markets to do but they are local and only 4 hours a day so thats almost like time off (big smiley here) , the testes we’re running at shows to see if the Worlds Hottest Jerky lives up to its name have proved a success 1 out of 20 on average didnt find it to hot, though a few said that through streaming eyes and were sweating profusly .
We have high hopes for next year, and having received the new hand made large pottery jugs from Jim the Pot to sell jerky from, we’re trying to ditch the plastic as so much of it ends on the floor so we’re now selling it in paper bags, except via the website, they will still be sold in plastic as they’re being posted lol, well Daves just arrived with a car load of ivy to decorate the house , will add more later
